At Oleant Lighting, we love a good challenge. When a client approached us with a unique request, we knew it was an opportunity to push the boundaries of design and functionality. Here’s how we turned a potential problem into a stunning lighting solution.

The Challenge

Our client had a vision: multiple lamps hanging from the ceiling, spread out across the room to create a dramatic, evenly lit space. However, there was one major obstacle—the ceiling had only one source of electricity, located right in the center.

Traditional solutions, like installing additional wiring, were impractical and costly. The client needed a creative, elegant solution that would bring their vision to life without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.

The Solution

After carefully assessing the space and the client’s needs, we proposed a novel idea:

• One Central Canopy: A single canopy in the center of the ceiling, connected to the existing electrical source.

• Three Stretched Lamps: Three lamps extending outward from the canopy, creating the illusion of multiple light sources while using only one power point.

This solution not only addressed the electrical constraint but also added a unique, sculptural element to the room.

The Process

1. Design Phase:

   • We created a detailed sketch (see below) to visualize the concept and ensure it aligned with the client’s vision.

   • The design featured sleek, minimalist lamps from our Slim-Line collection, chosen for their ability to blend seamlessly into the space while making a statement.

2. Customization:

   • The lamps were customized in size and finish to match the room’s aesthetic.

   • We ensured the canopy was discreet yet functional, maintaining the clean, modern look the client desired.

3. Installation:

   • Our team worked closely with the client to install the lighting, ensuring perfect alignment and functionality.
